Christmas for the troops..

Today we went to Artesia New Mexico to pick up a load of donated items for our Christmas for OUR Troops program. Included were dozens of sports balls....all signed by the kids who donated them!

Now that my Mom is moving to a home in a retirement community, she doesn't have room for many of her wonderful antiques. This clock is one, now residing with me. Built in 1868, I love it's wonderful ticking sound and low metallic chimes.
