"Cacti"....

The battalion I served in during part of my army tour was nicknamed the "Cacti" after the cactus on the unit crest; the unit having been organized in Arizona to chase Pancho Villa. During Memorial Day services I met the gentleman above and there was the Cacti crest on his hat [upper right]. He had served in the same battalion during WWII.
